The KS3 Curriculum
At KS3 students begin their journey by learning about the fundamental concepts and processes in Geography through topic called the Year of Adventure. This culminates in students planning and presenting in groups about a continent of the world. Students then go on to learn about a wide range of topics including rivers, urbanisation, migration, hazards, climate change, development, and ecosystems. These topics follow the national curriculum and also help to form the basis of understanding for geography GCSE and beyond.
