The KS4 Curriculum
At KS4 students follow the AQA GCSE syllabus which allows them to understand the different physical and human processes that shape our world and the links between them. Students work on understanding how geographical processes operate, how they are dynamic and change over time on a variety of scales. They also explore case studies from the United Kingdom, newly emerging economies (NEE), and lower-income countries (LIC). They evaluate their role in society by considering different viewpoints, attitudes, and opinions about various geographical issues. They also consider the need for sustainable management in order to tackle some of our biggest geographical issues now and for those future generations to follow.
